That’s why I’m excited to share my top pick for the recommended Meta Quest head strap: the Kiwi Designs H4 for Meta Quest 3. If you’re tired of the stock strap digging in or slipping during intense gameplay, keep reading to see why this is my go-to choice.

Kiwi Designs H4 Head Strap

Why I Switched to the Kiwi Designs H4 as My Recommended Meta Quest Head Strap

The default head strap on the Meta Quest 3 is functional, but let’s be honest—it leaves a lot to be desired for extended play. As someone who records long VR cricket sessions, I needed something more ergonomic and adjustable. Enter the Kiwi Designs H4, my recommended Meta Quest head strap for anyone serious about VR comfort.

This strap features a halo-style design that distributes weight evenly across your head, reducing pressure on your face and forehead. No more red marks after a marathon gaming session! It’s made with high-quality materials that feel premium yet lightweight, perfect for active users like me who move around a lot while playing cricket in VR.

Key Features of This Recommended Meta Quest Head Strap

What sets the Kiwi Designs H4 apart? Here are the standout features that make it my recommended Meta Quest head strap:

  • Adjustable Fit: Easy-to-use dials let you customize the fit in seconds, accommodating different head sizes and shapes.
  • Breathable Padding: Soft, ventilated cushions keep things cool, even during sweaty VR workouts.
  • Battery Compatibility: It works seamlessly with external battery packs, extending your playtime without added hassle.
  • Durability: Built to last, this strap handles the rigors of daily use, from casual gaming to content creation.
  • Easy Installation: Swaps out in minutes—no tools required.

In my VR Cricket Guy videos, you’ll see me wearing this strap as I dive into immersive cricket simulations. It stays secure through every swing and bowl, letting me focus on the game instead of adjustments.

Personal Experience: How It Elevates My VR Cricket Sessions

Filming for TikTok and Instagram means I need reliable gear that doesn’t distract from the action. The Kiwi Designs H4 has been a game-changer. Before switching, I’d deal with discomfort after just 30 minutes. Now, I can go for hours without fatigue. It’s especially great for VR sports like cricket, where quick movements are essential.

If you’re into VR gaming, fitness, or content creation, this recommended Meta Quest head strap is worth every penny. I’ve tested several options, and nothing matches the comfort and stability of the H4.

The Full Story about Why I am Creating My Own VR Cricket Game

To really convey everything about my decision to create my own VR cricket game, I have recorded a video to try and get everything across. I decided just to play a game of iB Cricket in my usual manner, but also talk about the reasons behind VR Cricket Guy – The Career Mode game.

VR Cricket Guy The Career Mode in my own words.

I’m hoping that this will answer a lot of questions about the latest step in my VR cricket journey. It will hopefully explain that I am not expecting to be able to create a VR cricket game as spectacular as iB Cricket. This is just me talking about my hopes, realisations and my realistic expectations.

I’m pretty sure that there will be plenty of ups and downs during the process of creating my own VR Cricket game, but I am very much looking forward to it. One of the main reasons for making the announcement, was to force myself into actually doing it.

Creating my own VR Cricket Game

If I tell my 100,000+ social media followers that I am going to make my own VR cricket game, then I actually need to do it. However, as I explain in the video, I am big enough and ugly enough to admit failure if things don’t turn out the way I planned.

VR Cricket Guy Announces The Career Mode

I have finally decided to announce that I am in the process of creating my very own VR Cricket Guy VR game. Over the last two years I have been secretly learning how to code, design and program for VR. It has been a very steep learning curve, but I think I can now happily go ahead and start work on VR CRICKET GUY – THE CAREER MODE.

VR Cricket Guy - The Career Mode

Why The Career Mode?

I am still (and always will be) a HUGE fan of iB Cricket. That will always be the gold standard in VR cricket gaming in my eyes. I have enjoyed playing iB Cricket for the past 3 years and I fully intend to keep playing it. BUT the huge gap in the VR cricket market is being able to play a Career Mode.

So I think this is the perfect time to start trying to create a VR cricket game that can fill that gap. From my social media accounts, I already know that iB Cricket fans have been crying out for a career mode. So I am just going to concentrate on developing a VR cricket game that satisfies that need. I won’t be worrying too much about PvP for the time being, I just want to make sure I can get the physics and mechanics of cricket working to the best of my ability.

When will VR Cricket Guy – The Career Mode be Released?

That is the million dollar question. I fully understand that this is not an easy task and will not be an over night thing. I still have to work a full time job and develop my VR cricket game in my spare time. I would really love to say that VR Cricket Guy – The Career Mode will be launched in 2026. But I’m not going to put myself under any pressure and release something I am not happy with.

So please be patient. I am very excited by this project, but I don’t want to rush it. I have already made progress on stadium design, scoreboards and bats. I will be keeping everyone informed via social media about VR Cricket Guy – The Career Mode.
