Is VR cricket realistic?
The batting is. The rest of the match is not.
In iB Cricket on a Meta Quest, a well-timed shot feels like a shot. Late is late. A full toss can go. A good length ball still asks for a decision.
What it does not do is outdoor cricket. You are not sprinting singles, taking catches, or standing in a real crowd. The fun is the crease.
- Clear a bit of floor so a full swing does not hit a lamp.
- Good light helps the headset track the controllers.
- Controllers work. A VR bat only changes the grip.
