Personally, I dread playing iB Cricket on the green wicket. I’ve never been able to master playing against the moving ball. In the Expert League, the ball will dart off the pitch in both directions, so you need to concentrate hard on each delivery, especially against the fast medium style bowlers.
This video is also the first tome I have played with my new line up. I have made numerous changes to the team just to keep the content fresh. There is a great cameo from Jimmy Anderson at the end of the innings.
In this VR cricket video, I am using the Mint3d bat with the Meta Quest 3. I was hoping that the Meta Quest 3 internal microphone would not breakdown on me. In some of my previous videos, I have had to use the audio from the external camera because the Quest 3 microphone had cut out.
I also discuss cricketing superstitions. Not just for real life cricket, but for VR cricket too. I’ve sure there are plenty of weird and wonderful cricket superstitions out there.
I’m now seriously thinking about investing some of my TikTok monthly earnings in a DJI wireless mic set up and hoping that will solve my audio problems once and for all.
